Summer School on Experimental Methodology in Computational Science Research
The very first Summer School on Experimental Methodology in Computational Science Research was hosted by the School of Computer Science at University of St Andrews in Scotland, UK. Participants were requested to bring their own experiments that could be made recomputable by deploying them in distributable VMs. They formed into groups for this exercise, and the VMs carrying their experiments are listed below.
Participants were also involved in writing a paper about reproducibility in computational science. The process for compiling and generating the paper was made reproducible, for which the VM is included here.
We recommend that you first read through the general instructions for running these experiments.
Security Warning: There are inevitable security risks in running any executable and/or virtual machine downloaded from the internet. You should take appropriate precautions.
